Seneca Highlands Intermediate Unit Nine


Cosmetology (3 years): The program goals are to have students acquire 1250 hours of instruction so they will qualify to sit for the state cosmetology exam to become certified as a cosmetologist in Pennsylvania. Enrollees are trained in the areas of safety, state laws, hair shaping, coloring, texture services, scalp and hair conditioning, skin and makeup, manicures, pedicures, and artificial nails.

Program Certificate – Cosmetologist Licensure (1250 hours requirement and successful completion of state test)
