IU9 Special Education coordinates with districts to provide Special Education services for students with disabilities ages 3-21. Staff include psychologists, Special Education teachers, supervisors, occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists and paraprofessionals.
Contracted Special Education programs and services are provided to our member school districts. These services include Learning Support, Life Skills Support, Autistic Support, Multiple Disabilities Support and Emotional Support classes. Additional program services include Speech/Language Support, Vision Support and Hearing Support. Occupational and Physical Therapy services are also coordinated through the Special Education Program.
Staff and program supervision as well as psychological services are afforded at each level of support.
