Adult Education Programs

Adult basic education programs are funded through a grant by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, Division of Adult Education to provide a full range of instructional services that help adults 17 and older who are no longer enrolled in high school develop the basic skills necessary to find and keep family-sustaining employment.

Program Overview

The driving force of our program is to help adult learners brush up on their academic skills. We'll assist you as you earn a high school equivalency diploma by passing the GED® or HiSET® exam or enter post-secondary education with the ultimate goal of obtaining employment. Classes are free of charge to students, but there is a fee for taking the high school equivalency exams if that is your goal.

We offer a variety of learning options to meet your needs. Instructional models include the following:

  • In-Person Instruction: These classes are held face-to-face at one of our classroom locations.
  • Remote, Real Time Instruction: These classes are remote via Zoom.
  • Hybrid Instruction: This option combines face-to-face and remote classes.

Please call your designated county location for more information or to enroll.
