Clearances & Fingerprinting

Pursuant to state, federal, and local requirements, we require the following clearances:

  • Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) Criminal Background Checks (Act 114) - fee varies depending on the service code used
  • Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearances (CY113) - $13
  • Pennsylvania Criminal Record Checks (SP4-164) -  $22
  • Mandated Reporter Training - Free

We cannot accept clearances performed previously for volunteer positions.

Fingerprinting and FBI Background Check (Act 114)

We require all employees to undergo an FBI Background Check (Act 114), which requires applicants to submit fingerprints.

The IU9 does not schedule fingerprinting appointments.

Payment
Please plan to provide payment at the time of fingerprinting. We accept all major credit cards and money orders or business checks made payable to “IdentoGo.” We cannot accept cash or personal checks.

Telephonic registration is also available at (844) 321-2101 Monday through Friday, 8:00 a. m. to 6:00 p.m. EST. Applicants will provide all demographic data during the pre-enrollment process.

Pennsylvania Criminal Record Checks (SP4-164)

Applicants may apply for their criminal record at the Pennsylvania Access to Criminal History website.

The PATCH unit does not mail PATCH check results requested via the EPATCH website. It is the requestor’s responsibility to print and provide the “No Record” or “Record” response.
