Pennsylvania Science of Reading Course

This course is designed to build participant knowledge about the science of reading. It also serves as part of the professional development requirement for k–8 teachers as detailed in Pennsylvania legislation. While it is intended to address the kindergarten through second grade levels, the information applies to all beginning and struggling readers, regardless of age.

This free, self-paced, Schoology course will be available from September 23 through December 31, 2024. Participants who complete the course will receive 10 Act 48 credits.
